The 3-lane northbound flyover ramp from I-95 northbound to the Beltway Inner Loop (toward Tysons Corner), was completed and opened to traffic on August 24, 2006. The ramp contains a flyover bridge that is 2,630 feet long. This ramp is easily drivable at 50 mph. The original ramp for this movement was closed, and will be demolished. The local ramp from Commerce Street in Springfield, enters this new main ramp as a third lane on the right, and that ramp opened at the same date. These photos show these ramps.
The following 12 photos are in sequence along the new 3-lane northbound flyover ramp from I-95 northbound to the Beltway Inner Loop (toward Tysons Corner).
